About Amanda Madelin

Amanda J Madelin - also known as ‘Jazz’.
Amanda has painted and drawn from an early age and at school was taught art by teachers who were local artists. Each painting has a poem that accompanies it, that is inspired by the painting, that Amanda writes.
Amanda's fairy paintings are usually drawn, inked in and then painted using watercolours and watercolour pencils.
Amanda's favourite artists are the Pre-Raphaelites - especially John William Waterhouse, but she also has a soft spot for Botticelli. On a modern note Amanda loves the work of Ed Org and Jo Grundy and an anonymous street artist in Bristol who produced a stunning study of a hummingbird.
