A reduction linocut of the Golden Pavilion on Kyoto, Japan.

This print was Shortlisted for the 2020 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of 12 prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

Hand-printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. The printed area is 30 x 20cm. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, conservation mounted in a neutral colour and supplied framed in a dark stained wood frame.

This piece can also be purchased using Own Art - interest free credit, payable by 10 equal monthly instalments of £24.50 - contact the gallery for full details and an application.
